Laurent Condomine

Laurent Condomine was VP Business Development of AstraZeneca, based at its headquarter in London, in charge of developing the Corporate Strategy of the Group, including external growth. He previously held similar positions, namely with ICI when he was involved in the demerger of Zeneca in 1993, then with Zeneca when he played a key role in its merger with Astra in 1998. In 2007 he was a key member of the team in charge of the acquisition, by AstraZeneca, of MedImmune. He retired at the end of 2007.
The Pharmaceuticals industry has been the focal point of his career. Firstly at ICI-Pharma (France), starting in 1973, where he held several positions including CFO and Sales&Marketing Director, prior to the position of Managing Director. In 1989 he became Managing Director of ICI-France. In 1992 he joined ICI Headquarters in London. Prior to ICI he was a consultant with ADL. He has an MBA from INSEAD.
He is non-executive Chairman of ExonHit, a publicly listed French biotech company, and non-executive Director of Nanobiotix, a French private biotech company.
